Born: February 2, 1939  at Bardhaman district, Westbengal in India.

Nationality: Bangladeshi

Race: Bangali .
Citizenship: Bangladesh

Career:From 1960 to 1973 he taught at Rajshahi City College, Sirajganj College, Khulna Girls College and Dowlatpur Brajlal College. He joined the Rajshahi University as a professor in the Department of Philosophy in 1973. He taught 31 years in this university till 2004. [2] In 2009, he was nominated for the post of "Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Chair" at Dhaka University and did his duties. In August 2014, he was elected president of Bangladesh Pragati Lekhak Sangha.

in the life of adolescence, he started writing literature.
